Description

We will begin our trip from your hotel in Madrid at the agreed time, heading towards the historic city of Toledo, on a journey of approximately 1 hour. When we arrive in Toledo we will begin our tour in Plaza Zocodover, the historic heart of the city. From here, we will walk through the streets to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, where we can admire the spectacular Toledo Cathedral and the old Palace of Justice. We will continue exploring Toledo, going through the labyrinth of small streets in the Arab and Jewish neighborhoods, obtaining a feeling of being transported to previous centuries. We will learn about the history and legends of the time when Toledo was known as the 'City of Three Cultures.' Our last stop in Toledo will be the Church of Santo Tomé, completely rebuilt at the beginning of the 14th century by order of the Lord of Orgaz. Here you can admire the famous painting 'The Burial of the Count of Orgaz' by El Greco. We will make a stop to enjoy lunch before heading to Segovia. Upon arriving in Segovia we will enjoy a 3-hour tour. First we will enjoy the old town of Segovia, a labyrinth of narrow streets, picturesque squares and historic buildings. Getting lost in its cobbled streets is a fascinating experience that transports you back in time. We will continue our tour visiting the most iconic monuments of the city. The imposing Alcázar of Segovia, with its distinctive medieval and Renaissance architecture, looks like something out of a fairy tale. The majestic Segovia Cathedral, known as the 'Lady of Cathedrals', is a late Gothic masterpiece. Finally, we will admire the Roman aqueduct, one of the most impressive and best preserved monuments in Spain, built in the 2nd century AD. Finally, we will return to Madrid and drop you off at your hotel, completing a day full of history, culture and impressive landscapes.
