Description

We will start our trip from your hotel in Madrid at the agreed time, heading towards the historic city of Avila, in a journey of approximately 2 hours. We will tour Avila for approximately 2 hours. Our first stop will be the impressive medieval walls of Avila, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which surround the city and offer breathtaking panoramic views. Then, we will visit the Cathedral of Avila, an impressive Gothic building in the historic center of the city, known for its architecture and artistic richness. We will continue exploring the old town of Avila, with its cobblestone streets, squares and historic buildings such as the Convent of Santa Teresa, which will transport you back in time. We will stop for lunch before heading to Salamanca. Upon arrival in Salamanca we will enjoy a 2-hour tour, starting with the impressive Plaza Mayor, famous for its baroque decorations and vibrant atmosphere as a popular meeting point. From here, we will stroll through the charming streets of Salamanca, discovering the magnificent Cathedral, which combines the 12th-13th century Old Cathedral and the 16th century New Cathedral. We will also visit the Plaza del Corrillo, accessible from the Plaza Mayor through the Arco del Corrillo. Our route will include a visit to the Casa de las Conchas, an old urban palace in Gothic style with Plateresque elements, famous for its facade decorated with more than 300 stone shells. Finally we will return to Madrid and drop you off at your hotel, completing a day full of history, culture and breathtaking landscapes.
