Welcome to the Prado Museum! This tour is more than just a guided visit: it is especially designed for families of all ages that want to learn about art together. Along the itinerary, you will wonder at must-see artworks like Las Meninas or Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights, searching for hidden details and travelling back in time. Although there are many masterpieces at the museum, during this Prado tour for families you will also discover artists and paintings that will amaze you, such as Sofonisba Anguissola, a painter from the Italian Renaissance. You will practice your drawing skills at the medieval rooms and put your senses (and imagination) to the test while you explore the many areas of the gallery with your guide. The Prado Museum collection has more than 26,000 art pieces (quite a few, right?) so the tour focuses on a nice and fun selection, to help you understand the magic behind each brushstroke and connect with history and art while you share everlasting moments with your loved ones. As this tour is specially designed for kids and young adults (and also adults with a young spirit!), it is 1.5 hours long, enough to discover the highlights of the museum without making them feel overwhelmed. If you want to stay after the tour is done, don't worry! You will be handed a recommendation list of art pieces to add to your itinerary.

Important Information

Minors must be accompanied by an adult during the tour. Kids younger than 18 and seniors (+65) must present a valid ID (or a copy) at the entry for the reduced tickets. All visitors must pass through airport-style security. It is not allowed to take pictures inside the museum. Food and/or drinks are not permitted inside the museum, they need to be left at the cloakroom.
